Hosting, delivery, and server log files

This website is delivered via Cloudflare Workers. To enable technically secure access, Cloudflare processes, in particular, the IP address, time, requested address, browser data, and amount of data transferred. Media may be delivered via Cloudflare R2 storage using a dedicated domain. The processing serves the secure and reliable operation of the website and is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact form

If you contact us via the contact form, we process the selected topic, the short description, your message, and your email address, as well as the language and page from which you sent the form. The information is forwarded by a Cloudflare Worker as an email to our support mailbox (support@fraensmo-systems.com, operated via Google Workspace) and is not stored in a database. To prevent abuse, your IP address is used briefly to limit the number of requests per minute.

The purpose is to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering inquiries pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Recipients are Cloudflare (forwarding) and Google (email mailbox) as processors. We delete the message once the request has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Local storage and Privacy Settings

We store your choice of light or dark color scheme and your privacy decision exclusively locally in your browser (Local Storage). The privacy decision contains the selected categories, a version number, and an expiry date. It is requested again after six months or after a material change. This storage is necessary in order to respect your choice.

You can change your selection at any time using the “Privacy Settings” link in the footer. Any data transfer to an external service that has already taken place cannot be reversed by doing so; future calls to these services will, however, be blocked.

Google Analytics 4

If you consent to the “Analytics” category in Privacy Settings, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure reach. In particular, pages viewed, interactions, technical browser and device information, approximate location data, and an online identifier may be processed. The service is not used for personalized advertising, remarketing, Google Signals, or linking with Google Ads.

The recipient is Google Ireland Limited; processing by affiliated Google companies outside the EEA cannot be ruled out. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. The retention period in Google Analytics is determined by the settings configured in the Analytics property in use. Google provides further information in its Privacy Policy.

YouTube videos

YouTube videos are loaded only after you either consent to the “External Media” category or click “Load Video” on a video and then give your consent. Until then, we deliver only a locally hosted preview image; no connection to YouTube is established.

After consent, the player is embedded via the youtube-nocookie.com domain. In particular, your IP address, technical browser data, and information about accessing the video may be transmitted to YouTube or Google. Enhanced privacy mode reduces cookies, but does not replace consent. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. For possible processing outside the EEA and the retention period, the information provided by Google in its Privacy Policy applies.

Your rights

Where the legal requirements are met, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. For requests, you can reach us at support@fraensmo-systems.com.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular with the authority at your habitual residence, your place of work, or the place of an alleged infringement. For the Austrian controller, this is generally the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde).
